Your Space
As humans we are all walking the journey home to ourselves: no-one is exempt from facing difficulties along the way, and it certainly isn't a journey we have to walk alone. Perhaps you are experiencing challenging psychological conditions such as anxiety or depression, or somatic health issues associated to underlying emotional themes. Or, perhaps you simply want to deepen your self-relationship and grow through integrative practices. Whichever the onus, beginning a therapeutic process is often a significant step towards change.
Individual Therapy
Healing is not a single objective; it is a lifelong journey of self-discovery, growth and transformation.

Individual therapy is integrative and multidisciplinary.
An integrative approach is one that considers your mental, emotional, physical, relational and spiritual aspirations, focusing on how they all intersect and interact.

Therapy is appropriate for various challenging physical and psychological conditions, however, you need not have an inherent difficulty to explore this avenue, as ultimately it is indicated for anyone wishing to enrich their life and connection to others and the world. Therapy is a way to cultivate introspection, integrate past experiences, transform old patterns into new resources, and transcendence of your current state of awareness.

Following a multidisciplinary approach, every therapeutic plan is devised considering your specific individual needs, referring you when appropriate to a trusted network of specialists to ensure overall health and well-being.

Because I believe in the resourcefulness and beauty of each person's subjective process, my aim is to guide you towards your own personal goals and dreams, knowing that this is only possible in a safe, warm and judgement-free environment.

Duration: 50min sessions, frequency dependant on therapeutic objectives.

Breath Work Journey
Breath is life, as through our breath we connect to our body and our environment.

Breathing superficial and short breaths, or having a compromised breathing pattern of any sort, can indicate your body has adopted a coping mechanism of “disconnecting” from itself and the outside world.
Perhaps this means disconnecting from overwhelm, stress, sadness, or even traumatic experiences stored in your body. Reconnecting to your breath is therefore a powerful tool on the journey to recovering your deepest sense of self, integrating your emotions and discovering your truest aspirations, all of which cause inherent shifts in your connection to others and the world around you.
The breath is the only aspect of our otherwise autonomous system that we can control, and so is the doorway into altering aspects of our physiology and nervous system. For instance, if we breathe deeper and slower using recovery breathing, we slow down our heart rate, relax our muscles, tone our nervous system and support digestion. On the other hand, if we accelerate our breath through practices such as circular breathing or hyperventilation, we activate our whole body. With some practices this may mean simply activating and energizing the body, but with others it may imply emotional catharsis or even the induction of altered state of consciousness that can be healing and transformational.

Aligning your intentions with the most appropriate breath work modality, correct preparation and post-integration are all key for the best therapeutic outcomes, all of which you can explore with guidance and support.

Duration: A minimum of 6 50min sessions is required to complete a breath work journey.
Integrating Altered States of Consciousness
Altered states of consciousness are powerful tools for healing and transformation. However, the capacity of an altered state experience to have a constructive and lasting impact in our life is intimately tied to integration.

Integration refers to preparation for the experience (i.e. intention setting and physical preparation), considerations around the experience itself (i.e. assessing aspects like setting and harm reduction) and post-integration (i.e. meaning-making and constructive change post-experience). Without integration, altered states can be mere peak moments, without significant shifts in our selves or lives.

Clinical trials are revealing a growing body of evidence to support the efficacy of altered states of consciousness in treatment and self-development. For example, substance-induced psychedelic-assisted therapy is now an accessible treatment modality in some countries for conditions such as treatment-resistant depression and PTSD. Meanwhile, altered states induced through somatic practices such as breath work, movement and meditation are currently used for enhancing creativity, improving cognitive function and treating trauma and stress-related conditions.

In my sessions I only facilitate non-substance induced altered states of consciousness including breath work, meditation and movement practices.
Integration sessions are therefore indicated if you are wishing to complete a start-to-finish therapeutic process with a substance-free altered state of consciousness, or, if you are seeking more support integrating a substance-induced psychedelic experience facilitated by another professional (i.e. your psychiatrist or other specialized guide).

Overall, integration sessions are aimed at providing you with the information and practical tools required to navigate these powerful spaces in an ethical, safe and fruitful way. The emphasis is on feeling capacitated and supported as you anticipate or process the transformations that may occur, always within an integrative model that promotes harmony between mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of the experience.
Every integration journey is individually curated and devised together according to your specific needs, but will almost always include a combination of verbal integration with reflective journalling, expressive and artistic activities, embodied exercises (i.e. therapeutic yoga, trauma release, and mindfulness meditation), and exploration of the spiritual practices most aligned with your personal worldview and values. Integration is an opportunity to grow and truly transform through your altered state experiences, whether they be positive or more challenging.
Duration: 50min sessions, frequency varies according to client needs and altered state experience being integrated. To complete a full altered state journey with me consult Breath Work Journey.
